When you lose a brother, why does one feel like you have lost an appendage? Tommy died in May this year and I feel like he is still here everyday. I say appendage, because when you lose a leg, there is still that feeling like the leg is still there. When something arises with my daughter, I have ctually gone as far as to pick up my cell phone to call him. Realizing what I am doing, I am overwhelmed with grief. Crying uncontrollably does not help the situation. Usually at night this happens. It used to happen when I was alone in the car driving.
During these blogs, I hope to do some healing. Grief is just one emotion people experience. I hope this blog does some healing for those in pain. You are not alone.
